Mutually Beneficial Training. Empty Mutually Beneficial Training.

Post by Jack Thu Jul 15, 2010 5:52 pm

So I've been helping a few people with there sniping abilities, and would like to reach out to the clan as a whole. In return the few that have asked me to help them said they would help me in return with other weapons / tactics.

So, I will help you with aiming, sniping, jump shots, and shooting people who jump as well as a few neat tricks and spots to go on certain maps.

But in return if you want some help i do ask for a little training in a weapon your already pretty good at or ways to shoot, fire, dodge, places to go, tactics, anything that helps you play well so that we can both become better players.

You may ask, how does he go about teaching such skills? Well, i take it upon myself to be a moving target and go across different maps and have multiple ways of teaching you most anything to do with sniper along with tips and tricks places to be etc. Note: I am not the best sniper, but i can help you become better then you already are.

If I don't see improvement or you don't see improvement within a half hour of my training, one of us is doing something wrong Razz

So if your interested hit me up on x-fire. (Jackhazardk).

Yeh, I think I could help out with that. If anyone wants training with other weapons, I can give basic training, but JhK will do the snipez Razz
And if anyone has a specific problem with a certain wep, they can post it here.

You may not expect this coming from me, but, *Points to himself* After all the EaW, Kotor 2 & Bf2 I could definitely use some touching up.

I'd say that any day would be good but, seeing as how my Job picked up today, I get to stack straw bails in barns xD, if either of you have a day in mind either PM me or contact me on Xfire.

In regards to Edge, I could use some tips on the regular Commando blaster.

Most any day is good Dev, As it is my summer break, if i am on xfire in more cases i am at any point 5 minutes away from a training session if need be. Though if i'm afk, i'm probably outside messing around with my friends, using my aug airsoft gun, or swimming...

So it's a come and go service. Whenever you need or want. If you want a specific date because of your work you can tell me and i'll be sure to leave that time spot open for you though.

Major Edit: There is a game that i have downloaded (for free off the internet) its an addition to the quake series called urban terror. If you want to download we can find a free server on this, and surprisingly enough 90% of my rc skills is due to this game. It helps with scoping enemys, and it makes no scopes on rc a piece of cake since the sniper in urban has no crosshair by design. The game also shows how to strategically move your character through jumping (in rc you may think jumping is terrible, but i may help give you that unknown speed boost and anti-noob ability as noobs generally dont take advantage of the jumps,) And i'm kinda lonely on that game and haven't played in a while. So its a more *unique* training idea.

@Deviss
The blaster is an allround wep, generally good against noobs and alsmost everything else, and headshots is what makes it effective. If you can't compensate for the aim difference fast enough when you crouch, just don't, it keeps your aim on the head more. And hold fire and shoot as fast as you can as long as the enemy is in your crosshairs. Using nades intermittently would also help, and try to time them when reloading, since you can nade while reload.

@Rinku
JhK can help you with that Razz

Yeah that's what I try to do now, especially with the nades. I'll toss one or two and bank 'em off a side of a wall or ceiling. Whenever I use the DC Blaster, I always try and focus on either the skull or torso when I fire.

JhK, like I said, it's up to you dude, if you get a day, let me know Wink

I personally need help with the blaster myself, and whoever I ask they either don't give me a straight answer or don't answer at all...so that would be a good incentive for me to train you guys who need it.

EDIT:
Just got trained by JhK, eggcelente!
A new tip from what i learned, @Deviss, if you see that you aren't hitting, slow down your fire rate. You get more HS and less ammo wasted.

Stealing my advice edge :O

And yea, just getting a little practise with slowing down your fire and getting a free kill target a few times helps. Just remember to get that 1, 2, knife thing down Razz or even use the sniper as a chipper and use that knife if need be and then switching to blaster

I have to thank jhk for the training that he gave me, although he would probably say that everything he taught was what I taught him. Razz
The current list of people trained and in the process of training :
Deviss (I need a confirmation to see if we covered all weapons)
Mello: Done
Rinky: Done
Hellnurse: only sniper
Cell: (I wasn't there, so I need a confirm from either jhk or Cell)
And of course, thank you to everyone who participated in this, hopefully making it a better clan than before. Smile

Cell didn't do much >_> we just kinda skirmished a bunch afterwords. Mello was fooling around with him... Ask mello if he did anything >_>

As for Dev, me and dev still have work to do. I dunno if you want to help him with other weps?

Mello and Rinku can still use some dodging techniques to make there already good tactics a bit better.

And i'm thinking about doing a whole nother' section to the entire training, For those kills when you sidestep down off of a jump and want to get an in-air kill. Good for shotgun, sniper, and caster.

P.S. Thank you for teaching ME edge Razz and also thank you for the shotgun help quick Smile

Unless Edge starts acting serious during Training, I'd just stick with Jhk for Sniper. The only other weapon, off-hand, I could think of would be the DC-17m Blaster.
