Everyday I wake up, everything is so cold
Day in day out, nothing new, always same old same old
Cant find the strength to be bold
Always do what you're told

Dont look down there is always hope
Keep that head up, there is a way to cope
And nope, it's not dope
Just clean that mind out with soap

Right in front of you is land
A helping outstretched hand
To pull you to where you can stand
Out of the sinking sand

Too often we let depression get us down
Now's not the time to be a clown
There is people like you all around town

A look, a glance
Someone to just take a chance
And make the advance

To show that you're not alone
