Accuracy Test Empty Accuracy Test

Post by Guest Wed Jan 14, 2009 3:43 am

So today, a dude from Spy claimed that the only reason why CCP pwns so much is because we only use Republic Blasters (funny most of us play as Trando half the time) So, regardless of that, it spiked my curiosity, and I made one simple test. Here is the result.

Accuracy Test Empty Re: Accuracy Test

Post by Delta 66 Wed Jan 14, 2009 5:17 am

That seems pretty clear.
I always run for the nearest trando uzi whenever I'm clone. -it seems to do better against Trandos than the Rep blaster. (and of course Rep blaster seems to work the best against a clone)
Amp, I know you've looked at the 2 weapons properties in unrealEd... how do the numbers compare?

I love how people just can't accept that if a weapon "sucks". It might just be themselves who "Suck with the Weapon". Nice find Amp...lol I can't do that since the lowest settings has no "Bullet Holes" on walls... Very Happy

Well, they are not off by much. The Rep blaster has a bit of a longer range, but the spread, side and verticall recoils are a bit stronger than the UZI. They both have the same shooting speed, and the ammo has the same bullet speed and power. They are basically the same weapon, but one has less recoil.

so the recoil is why the Blaster paints the bigger circle in your video. (the gun "shakes" more -making it less accurate)

That's exactly right. The smaller the stain on the wall, means that the shots hit closer to one another.

Uzi is the Trando SMG Repeater -you know the gun you spawn with when you are Trando in Star Wars Republic Commando multiplayer -from Lucas Arts

vertical recoil is the gun kicking up/down as you fire it.

I like the Blaster because i can see the shots and i know where i am aiming at. With the trando gun, i have to guess.

Altough I agree that the reticule is there, you cant rely on it when you are lagging, so i see her point.

Post by Tal Verd Wed Jan 14, 2009 3:28 pm

in my opinion, the Trando smg looks more like a P90 then an uzi, just take a look for yourself.

Looks like that the Trando SMG is more accuret, but also that the bullet holes vanished because of the DC-17's appearing. Still, seems good. I've always looked that I've done better with the T-SMG.

It does look like a P90, also loads the same way.

That is why i did it twice at different ranges. You can just tell while its happening which one makes a bigger stain.

true for both, I must say though, that I prefer the DC-17 rifle over the trando SMG.

Also, I think the P90 looks more powerfull tha th UZI.

just sayin. Razz

T_T Are you sure? Well...ok.
Don't ask me what it means, or I'll hurt you.

Table on the left is the DC17m Blaster, the one on the right is the ACP Repeater gun.
