Here guys, is my basic guide to being a tank in LoL(League of Legends)
The first thing tanks need is health. You're going to need boots too. The boots give you the mobility you need to get around. Playing as a tank I usually start of with boots of speed(basic boots) and 3 health potions. The health potions will keep you alive early game and the boots will give you speed. Next choose your boots. I like to get boots of mobility, they make you faster in combat, and you become alot faster out of combat. These are useful for getting around on the map quickly. The next item you're going to need is preferably Warmogs armor. This armor gives you massive amounts of health. I usually start this build by getting a giant's belt, or ruby crystal and regrowth pendent. The giants belt will give you alot of health, but the other two items will give you some health and some health regeneration. The rest of your items are going to be situational buys, or or things you buy dependent on how the other team is doing. If you need some more health, go with a Frozen mallet, this will not only give you health, but also some damage, and will slow enemies. If you need more damage go with the atmas impaler, the impaler gives you .02% of your health as damage. Here's a list of situational items:
If you are not getting killed much, but having problems killing you need damage, most of these should come after warmogs:
-Atmas Impaler
-Sunfire Cape(some health, some armor, and 35 damage per second to near enemies)
-Tirnity Force(some health, some mana, some attack speed, some damage, the whole package)
If you are getting killed by people building damage(tryndamere, teemo, ashe, gangplank, miss fortune etc....)
-Thornmail(thornmail will return 35% of damage to the person attacking you as magic damage)
If you are fighting alot of magic you need magic resist(magic characters are characters like: ahri, morgana, veigar, etc.....)
-Shureylas reverie(some magic resist, some health, cooldown reduction)
-Aegis of the legion(some magic resist, some health, and some stuff to help your friends)
-Spirit Visage(some magic resist, some health, increase your regen rate)

The most important thing to remember is that each champion is different. Each tank can use his own build. If you want to learn in-game just contact me by xfire or in game. Xfire: bernieterminator In game name: ManEatingWaffle

Imagine starting off Each Call of duty game with money, but no rifle, boots, armor, ammo, etc.. Now imagine that you had to buy it. That's basically what it is for a different game. Like I said Nahwal, this is for league players. League players will understand it. If you want to know more look on www.leaugeoflegends.com
I can help you out if you want to know more, add me on xfire.
