I guess it's a Poem?

Afternoon everyone,

With Andy's recent posting of his very well done Poetry, it motivated me to post something I wrote a while back. Like my Title says, I don't really know if it's technically called Poetry but, I wrote it for a friend since she and I Graduated this past June:

Though we have endured separation and hardship
through state-wide distances and family tragedies,
we still come through it all.

Through quarrel and misunderstanding,
from the simple to serious,
we still come through it all.

Through every trial we have faced,
you were there to lend care, advice and friendship.
We came through it all.

With every sunrise and sunset,
every gail of rain and flurry of snow,
I thank God for you.

For if not your presence,
a radically different man I would be.

I look back on it all,
from our fated meeting
and every encounter we had and the countless yet to come,
I thank God for you.

We will come through it all.

There yah have it. I came up with it one Saturday night, just as I got into bed.
