Only I can understand what's going on inside

Only I can understand why my soul, itself, has lied 

You think you know who I am 
But what you know is a sham
I am not the man you know
All of this has been a show

Only I can understand why i wince at every chide 

Only I can understand why the joy in life has died 

This blackness, consuming all
Deafens others to my call
Seclusion, my destiny 
All others less are than me

Maybe because I'm a geezer, but the vibe coming off this poem makes we want to listen to Nirvana. Good job, well done.
